International BEST-CLI Collaborative

The International BEST-CLI Collaborative is dedicated to improving care and outcomes for CLTI patients internationally through research and implementation of evidence-based medicine.

The Collaborative is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and has met three times as a think tank. Current efforts are focused on leveraging the BEST-CLI research network into greater advances in PAD and CLTI care.

The Collaborative has published two White Papers reporting out on their meetings in 2023 “BEST-CLI International Collaborative: planning a better future for patients with chronic limb-threatening ischaemia globally” and 2024: “International BEST-CLI Collaborative: next steps to create a coordinated global initiative to improve awareness and access while reducing mortality and amputation for patients with chronic limb-threatening ischaemia”.
